How do I book a picnic?
Glad you chose us to host! Please fill out our client intake form. A member of our team will get back to you within 48 hours of your inquiry. Please note, a submission of the form does not secure the event date.
How long are the picnics?
Picnic duration range from 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the package selected. Additional hours can be added on for an additional fee using the client intake form.
What happens if I am running behind?
If you are running late, please inform your picnic event coordinator via call/text.
Elderflower Picnic Co. reserves the right to cancel any event if the client is more than 30 minutes late without refund.
What options do I have if there are weather issues?
SoCal weather is usually always bright & warm, however, if we are experiencing weather conditions not fit for an epic picnic our team will notify you 24 hours prior to your event & the morning of. We will reschedule your event within 3 months of your scheduled event date. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for unpredictable weather.
How does payment work?
We require a non-refundable deposit to book your event. The deposit is applied to the total amount due 14 days before your scheduled event.
All invoices, contracts & quotes are sent via email.
I need to rebook or cancel, how do I do that?
Not a problem! We require 3 days written notice for rebooking prior from the scheduled date. Please note, the rescheduled date must be scheduled within 3 months of the original date. Our available dates are based upon current availability. Late notice for rebooking your picnic is subject to a $50 rebooking fee that is applied to secure your new event booking.
For cancellations, we require 7 days written notice prior to your scheduled date. Events paid in advance will be eligible for a refund, minus the non refundable deposit, if written notice is received 7 days prior. Late notices & no shows forfeit their refunds entirely.
What happens if something is broken or missing?
A refundable security deposit for damages will be held to secure each event and is refundable within 24 hours following the end of the event. Please note, the refund is honored if there are no damages or missing items made to the property of Elderflower Picnic Co.
What steps are taken to ensure everything is cleansed properly for my event?
Elderflower Picnic Co. adheres to best practices for enhanced cleaning & strictly follows guidelines & local laws set forth in our community.
All items are thoroughly sanitized using approved disinfectants
Blankets & pillows are washed & sanitized after every use
Hard surfaces are cleansed with approved aerosol disinfectant & wipes
High touch surface areas are cleansed with aerosol disinfectant & wipes
For the safety of our guests, all Elderflower event coordinators wear masks and gloves during set up & clean up.

Is food & drink provided?
We provide complimentary water & choice of sparkling ice beverage on ice depending on the package chosen. We do not provide food or snacks. We highly encourage you to bring your favorite food & drink!
What locations can I choose from?
We are currently serving Santa Clarita & neighboring areas. Locations include all local parks & even your own backyard for a more intimate setting. Please keep in mind, we scout community locations to ensure you have a great picnic spot, however, we can not guarantee a secluded area in community spaces.
Does the picnic event coordinator stay the entire duration of the event?
No, the picnic event coordinator leaves once you arrive & are settled in. The coordinator returns at the end of the event to break down.
Can I leave my picnic early?
Yes, please notify your picnic event coordinator via text/call. Do not leave the picnic until the picnic event coordinator arrives. There will be no partial refunds or credits for ending the event early.
Can I extend my picnic time day of?
Regretfully, we cannot offer extensions of event times due to the time slot allotted for the picnic. All additional hours must be paid in advance & pre-booked.
Am I allowed to bring alcoholic beverages to my picnic?
All public areas do not allow consumption of alcoholic beverages. We do not allow or supply alcohol - all citations or fines given for violating the rules & regulations are the responsibility of the guest. Elderflower Picnic Co. is not financially or legally accountable for such citations or fines.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Please contact us to purchase.
Is there a fee for small children?
We do not charge for children under 10 years of age for your booking. If a place setting is requested, we charge $40 for each individual. If coordinating an event for children, please inquire with us.
